Jonathan Palmer wants to build a circuit in France

Jonathan Palmer, the father of pilot Jolyon Palmer, was able to buy the land of the former military base of Laon-Couvron (Aisne) located a few dozen kilometers from Paris after several months of study.

The owner of the company Motorsport Vision plans to develop a complex dedicated to motor sports, including an 8km long track with several layouts, a 2km straight line, a crossing area for off-roaders, courses reserved for rally, and even a one-kilometer oval (i.e. 400m more than that of Tours Speedway in Indre-et-Loire).

The former resident of the Tyrell team, who already owns several circuits in Great Britain, announced that work should begin in spring 2017.
