The 308 Racing Cup towards success?

Officially unveiled in August 2015, the 308 Racing Cup has since continued its development on the track by participating in the ETCC events on the Nürburgring or in the TCR Series at Spa.

Present in the Magny-Cours paddock as part of the GT Tour this weekend, the Lionne, powered by the 1,6 hp 308 liter THP unit, coupled to a six-speed sequential gearbox, will be tested by more than 40 customers Saturday on the Nièvre slope.

“We are fully booked for these tests, told us Laurent Guyot, responsible for promotional formulas Peugeot Sport. Two copies will be on track. The car is in the final phase of reliability and validation, and we are considering potential runs. »

The 308 Racing Cup must replace the RCZ Racing Cup next year, which should continue for its part mainly within the framework of the Rencontres Peugeot Sport. The French brand also remains attentive to projects for 2017, with Oreca having announced the end of its involvement in promoting the GT Tour.
