The Consani Lariche duo on a Ginetta

The SpeedCar team will have a second Ginetta for the opening of the French championship FFSAGT this week-end. During testing at Paul Ricard at the beginning of July, the team ran with a Ginetta entrusted to Thomas Hodier, while Benjamin Lariche and Robert Consani remained as in 2019 on a Alpine.

But the duo will of course be in a Ginetta at Nogaro, as on their debut in 2017. The car allowed them to finish second in the championship for the first year of GT4. For the small British brand, this will be an opportunity to return to center stage on the French circuits.

“We might have the impression that we want to make something new out of something old”, laughs Robert Consani. “But the Ginetta left us with very good memories. With my teammate Benjamin Lariche and the entire Speed ​​Car team, we will begin our fourth season together and... we want to do better than this title of Pro-Am vice-champion won in 2017. Lighter than its competitors, the Ginetta is still very efficient and we know the settings well."

In 2019 with Alpine, the crew finished fifth in the championship.
