The GT Tour celebrates the National Day in Magny-Cours

After Lédenon, Dijon and the Val de Vienne, the GT Tour competitors will meet in Magny-Cours this National Day weekend. This Saturday July 14, the French circuit championship will enter its second half-season. Before this 4th meeting of 2012, Olivier Panis and Eric Debard occupy first place in the general classification, without ever having yet imposed their Ferrari 458 from the Sofrev-ASP team. Let's remember that it was on this same circuit that in 2009, they achieved their first success together, in a Corvette. Will history repeat itself?

The Porsche 997 GT3-R of Pro GT by Alméras or the Audi R8 LMS ultra of Team Audi France and Saintéloc Racing are also among the contenders for victory, as is the Mercedes Sébastien SLS AMG Loeb Racing, which will also be present in Nièvre. The eight-time world rally champion will be there as team boss, but he will also take to the track by participating in four Mitjet 2.0 races.

Finally, for an exceptional weekend, an extraordinary program: Saturday will stretch on track until 21:30 p.m. with the holding of a semi-night round of the Porsche Carrera Cup. Then, a concert will be held within the circuit, followed by fireworks.

Price: 15 euros per day (Saturday or Sunday), 20 euros for two days.
