Lédenon, the real departure?

The Nogaro Easter Cups, the opening round of the 3 FFSA GT2010 championship, saw the Corvette Z06s dominate head and shoulders over a weekend marred by stories of uncalculated ballast. Untouchable in a straight line, the Americans achieved a double on Sunday and a treble on Monday, following races won by the Graff Racing duos Julien Canal-Gérard Tonelli and Renaud Derlot-Arnaud Peyroles.

Ces derniers occupent d?ailleurs la tête du championnat devant l?équipage de la Porsche 911 GT3 R Larbre Compétition composé de Laurent Groppi et du triple champion FFSAGT Patrick Bornhauser.

But, since this first round, the organizers have revised their copy. This second meeting of the season, on the Lédenon track, should therefore allow us to witness fairer races than at Nogaro at the beginning of the month.

A new hierarchy could therefore well take shape, and could allow the Audi R8 and other Ferrari F430 Team to make their return to the forefront. The proposed spectacle would be all the more beautiful, especially since the cars candidate for victory are Corvette, Ferrari, Porsche, Aston Martin, Audi, Morgan, Viper and Alpina BMW are joined in this second round by a brand new Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560 entrusted to Julien Briché and Jean-Claude Lagniez.
