Buriram and Sepang rounds postponed due to coronavirus

The Super GT will not begin until next July at best, as announced by GTA, the promoter of the Japanese series. Championship officials have confirmed the postponement of the two extra-archipelago rounds of Buriram in Thailand and Sepang in Malaysia, against the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic.

In fact, the beginnings of the year 2020 could take place in July in Okayama. GTA indicates that the three postponed dates (Suzuka, Buriram and Sepang) have not yet been canceled and that discussions are underway to try to find a replacement date, knowing that the desire is to keep eight rounds on the calendar.
