Maxime Martin: Discover the Vantage with its definitive package

After the new GTE which debuted this year in WEC, it will be the turn of the GT3 and GT4 versions of theAston Martin Vantage to hit the track in the coming weeks. The GT3, powered by a new V8 block, replacing the traditional V12, will be in action at VLN8 on October 6.

Maxime Martin and Darren Turner will be requisitioned for the occasion. The Belgian will test in the wake of the Blancpain GT Series finale Endurance Cup, Tuesday at the start of next week in Barcelona, ​​notably to calibrate with the new Pirelli tires.

The former official BMW driver, now a resident of the Gaydon firm, is waiting to discover the final package of the GT3, the aero elements evolving compared to the version used in testing.

“This will be the first time that the car will face competition and will be in its true GT3 configuration, Maxime Martin told us in the Barcelona paddock, where he is competing in the Endurance Cup final with R-Motorsport.

TF Sport targets several programs

Another Aston Martin representative in GT3, the British structure TF Sport will be one of the most cutting-edge teams with the new Vantage GT3 in 2019.

As Team Principal Tom Ferrier confirmed to us in Barcelona, ​​two cars have already been ordered, which could be entered in the Endurance Cup in 2019. This is without counting possible other programs such as British GT.

TF Sport is also competing in the WEC this year with a Vantage GTE in the Am category.
