Nascar – Keselowski and Penske as fine strategists
On the resurfaced Kentucky trail, Brad keselowski was the smartest to show up on Victory Lane. The driver of the No. 2 Ford Fusion of Team Penske was the best able to save fuel to complete the final stint without returning to the pit lane, unlike all his rivals. This is the fourth success for “BradK” in 2016, the second in a row after Daytona last week.
Derrière le champion 2012, Carl Edwards (Joe Gibbs Racing – Toyota) échoue en deuxième position et précède Ryan Newman (Richard Childress Racing – Chevrolet). Les pilotes Stewart-Haas Racing Kurt Busch and Tony Stewart complete the top 5.
Several drivers made mistakes during the event, including Joey Logano (Team Penske – Ford), Jimmie Johnson (Hendrick Motorsports – Chevrolet) and Chase Elliott (Hendrick Motorsports – Chevrolet).
