Nascar – Kyle Busch dominates the situation at Loudon

The 2015 champion still had a big scare when he had to avoid a pile-up following contact between Austin Dillon and Kevin Harvick during the 150th lap. Martin Truex Jr (Furniture Row Racing) and Dale Earnhardt Jr (Hendrick Motorsports) were notably involved. If the Championship leader was able to move up to fifth place, the son of the seven-time champion of the same name failed in 34th place.

In addition to Kyle Larson, Brad Keselowski (Team Penske) also secured a place in the second part of the playoffs by taking fourth place behind Matt Kenseth (Joe Gibbs Racing).

Kurt Busch (Stewart-Haas Racing) and Kasey Kahne (Hendrick Motorsports) are the most struggling in the title race. The 2004 champion of the Nascar Cup Series who retired by hitting his teammate Kevin Harvick occupies the penultimate place in the ranking of the contenders for the coronation, only ahead of Kasey Kahne (Hendrick Motorsports) last classified due to the breakage of his rear suspension having forced him to lose 11 laps in the garage. Harvick is also in a delicate situation, only in tenth place in the Championship.
