Nascar – Kyle Busch extends with Joe Gibbs Racing

If Kyle Busch had a mixed 2012 season, only signing one victory and finishing in 13th place in the Championship, his skills satisfied Joe Gibbs Racing who chose to extend his contract long term. There Toyota No. 54 which was in the colors of Kyle Busch Motorsports will now be entered by Joe Gibbs Racing with the Las Vegas native as the main driver. Since joining the JGR in 2008, Kyle Busch has scored 20 victories in the premier class of the Nascar.

“I like winning and that’s what pushed me to sign the contract extension with Joe Gibbs Racing”, comments Kyle Busch who will continue to wear the No. 18 in the colors of sponsor M&M's this season. “I think the Joe Gibbs will give me the best chance to win the Championship in the Sprint Cup Series. I know the entire team is committed to achieving this goal and we will make it a reality in 2013.” The president of the eponymous team does not hide his satisfaction at seeing Kyle Busch extend his contract. “It’s a big deal for us. It's no secret that you have to have fantastic drivers to win Nascar and we were able last year to extend contracts with Kyle and Denny (Hamlin) while obviously having Matt (Kenseth). Kyle is a big part of our success at Joe Gibbs Racing and we're excited to have him stay for a long time. »
