Head off for the American Speedfest!

The weekend's races take place on the short Brands Hatch Indy circuit, allowing the many spectators present to have fast-paced races and an almost complete view of the circuit. Of course the four races of NASCAR Euroseries (two in the Pro category and two in D2) are the highlights of the weekend! In both championships, it was the Italians from CAAL Racing, Gianmarco Ercoli (best lap in 48''411) and Alberto Naska who were the fastest during qualifying.

In EuroNascar Pro, Ercoli won by leading from start to finish! From the start he widened the gap on the Italian Vittorio Ghirelli and the Dutch Liam Hezemans. The Belgian Anthony Kumpen finished just off the podium.

After winning twice during the previous meeting in Spain, the Cypriot Vladimiros Tziortzis continues his momentum in England in the EuroNASCAR 2 championship by signing a new success but with less than 2'' ahead of Alberto Naska and Martin Doubek.

The only regret of this day was a downpour which fell on the circuit when a demonstration of old NASCAR cars was in progress. Although the drivers still completed the laps, they were only able to give a brief glimpse of the potential of these American cars.

Tomorrow, 50 spectators will be there and the competitors from EuroNASCAR Pro and EuroNASCAR 000 will put on a show, but the side races and paddock entertainment will also keep the public in suspense.
