In pole position for the second race of the weekend, Jacques Villeneuve (Academy Motorsport/Alex Caffi Motorsport) was quick to score a second success in his career in NASCAR Euro Series. The Canadian pilot, who this time did not receive a 5-second penalty as was the case this Saturday, had to fight with Loris Hezemans to triumph again. Lasting 18 laps, this event saw the Dutchman take control in the first loops, with a gap of less than a second compared to the former world champion. Formula 1. On the 9th lap, the change of leader took place and Jacques Villeneuve never left the lead of the race to win again, ahead of Gianmarco Ercoli by 3 seconds. The Canadian did not hide his joy when he climbed to the top of the podium.  “It’s a great weekend for our team. We only needed pole position on Saturday to be perfect. But it’s a great way to end the season.” This season, Loris Hezemans is crowned champion in the NASCAR Euro Series category.
