After competing in the Italian GT Championship with Charles Weerts on behalf of Audi Sport Italia two weeks ago, Norman Nato will return to the seat of an Audi R8 LMS GT3 this weekend at the French round of the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup at Castellet.
The Frenchman will join Charles Weerts, as well as Rik Breukers, on the No. 10 of Team WRT, replacing the Mexican Ricardo Sanchez. This change of driver is also accompanied by a change of class for the Audi R8, until now fielded in the Silver Cup, and which will move up to the Pro category for the occasion.
“I am sure that Norman will quickly be on the right track, indicates Weerts, son of Yves Weerts, one of the founders of Team WRT with Vincent Vosse and René Verbist. I really hope we can celebrate a good result on Saturday night. »
Dries Vanthoor – Ezequiel Perez Companc – Alex Riberas will still be together in the No. 8 Audi R3 LMS GT2 Evo, while Paul Petit – Shae Davis – Alex MacDowall will drive the No. 17.
