Olivier Pernaut and Grégory Guilvert place Audi on pole in Dijon

The Audi R8 LMS GT4s dominated qualifying for the Dijon FFSA GT event. Olivier Pernaut and Grégory Guilvert achieved the two poles.

Olivier Pernaut and Grégory Guilvert place Audi on pole in Dijon

You had to drive an Audi R8 LMS GT4 to be at the forefront of the two qualifying sessions for the Dijon event in FFSAGT this Saturday morning. On the fast Burgundian route, Olivier Pernaut (Orhes Racing) and Grégory Guilvert (Saintéloc Racing) signed the two best times in Q1 and Q2.

Pernaut, former French champion in 2015 with IMSA Performance, dominated Q1 with a reference lap established in 1'23″499, 15 thousandths ahead of theAlpine A110 GT4 n°26 – CMR by Nicolas Tardif. The newcomer to the French Championship will have a great opportunity to shine in the race, since the second row will be shared between Sylvain Noël (Porsche Cayman GT4 n°11 – Racing Technology) and Stéphane Tribaudini (Alpine A110 GT4 n°36 – CMR).

Nice fifth place for the KTM X-Box n°369 – Greensall Motorsport of Nigel Greensall. Dominant in EL1 yesterday, the Mercedes-AMG GT4 n°87 – AKKA-ASP of Jean-Luc Beaubelique only takes 13th place, behind the best BMW M4 GT4 n°3 – BMW Team France of Laurent Hurgon.

In Q2, this time it was the Audi R8 LMS GT4 – Saintéloc Racing which set the pace with Grégory Guilvert in the no. 42, best time in 1'23″110, two small thousandths ahead of the sister car no. 40 of Simon Gachet.

Jim Pla lifts the Mercedes-AMG GT4 n°87 – AKKA-ASP to third place at 86 thousandths and will start on the second row of the second race on Sunday alongside Nicolas Schatz (Ginetta G55 GT4 n°71 – Schatz-Lestienne Racing).

The best Alpine A110 GT4 n°26 – CMR of Soheil Ayari took 9th place ahead of the first Porsche Cayman GT4 n°27 – IMSA Performance of Steven Palette.
