Of the 52 points at stake in the race, Marvin Klein won everything by winning two victories in Catalonia. Runner-up to Dorian Boccolacci (Martinet by Alméras) in the championship, the Varois was satisfied with his C2: “ We took the 3rd step, which I spoke about on Saturday evening, namely winning the second race. It's important to take all 26 points of the day. »

Even if he was more worried than during C1, the CLRT driver never worried about his performance: “ On one of the restarts, I locked my front-right wheel in the first turn. This allowed Alessandro Ghiretti to come back to me. I defended his attacks but knew I had the car to escape. I applied myself and went ahead. »

Arriving 23 points behind the championship leader, Marvin Klein leaves with a cost of only 5 points. “ It’s a good weekend in terms of accounting, admits the CLRT resident. He's still missing the 2 pole points but it's up to me to go and get them. The goal is to get the title during the last weekend. »

A championship which will therefore be played in Portimao for the final round from October 22 to 24, 2021.
