PCCF – Monza: Latorre on pole in C1, Boccolacci in C2

Florian Latorre had to wait for the fourth qualifying of the year to finally take his first pole position. The CLRT driver set a best time in 1'50”044. At the end of the 30-minute session, he will be alongside Dorian Boccolacci on the first row of race 1. The driver of the Martinet by Alméras team fails just 0”012 from pole position.

The gap is tiny since the 3rd is also less than a tenth from Florian Latorre. In this case, it is Marvin Klein, double pole-sitter at Spa, who occupies this position. At his side, he has the No. 1 BWT Lechner Racing car of Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer.

For race 2 tomorrow morning, Dorian Boccolacci is at the top of the timesheet. The championship leader achieved the best second lap in 1'50”229. He is ahead of Florian Latorre (CLRT) by 0”073 and Marvin Klein (CLRT) by 0”325.

In the Pro-Am category, Christophe Stone (Pierre Martinet by Alméras) is a double pole sitter. The driver of the No. 911 set a best lap in 1'50”972. Behind him, we find Nicolas Misslin. The BWT Lechner Racing driver made an error entering the parabolic on his last flying lap. His visit to the gravel trap prevented him from improving his time. Jérôme Boullery (YDEO) is 3rd in the category for both races.

Among the Amateurs, Maxence Maurice continued his flawless performance with two pole positions. He is clearly ahead of Sébastien Dussolliet (ABM) and Tugdual Rabreau (CLRT).

Finally, in the Rookie category, Dorian Boccolacci (Martinet by Alméras) logically dominates his qualifications. He nevertheless helped his teammates Alessandro Ghiretti (Martinet by Alméras) and Ugo Gazil (Pierre Martinet by Alméras), by offering them an aspiration during their timed lap. As a result, we find these three drivers in the first three places in the category for the C1. In C2, Ugo Gazil and Alessandro Ghiretti will exchange positions.

See you at 16 p.m. for the first departure of this Italian weekend.
