Porsche Matmut Carrera Cup: a host of contenders

After celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2011, the Porsche Matmut Carrera Cup should experience a new breath of fresh air this season. The arrival of new teams and new drivers confirms the enthusiasm for the most competitive one-make series of the GT Tour. Among the newcomers, Sébastien Loeb Racing, highly anticipated, enters three cars in the A championship, for Jean-Karl Vernay, Vincent Beltoise and Sacha Bottemanne. We will also find some regulars from the Carrera Cup pelotons, such as Sylvain Noël, 2011 vice-champion, or Julien Briché who shone during pre-season testing at Magny-Cours. As for the Pro GT by Alméras team, it will be necessary to closely follow the performances of the young Côme Ledogar, driving ACO-Autohebdo 2007.

Faithful to its vocation of revealing the champions of tomorrow, the Matmut Young Talents Trophy will be awarded to the best Junior. The result is a “package” allowing the winner to move to the next level. The best “gentleman” (driver B) will also be rewarded at the end of the season.
