Priaulx sees Seat continuing to exist

Present at the International Autosport Show in Birmingham, Andy Priaulx (BMW) thinks that Seat will still be able to stand out in 2010, thanks to the Leon TDi that private teams will collect. “ I heard that Tarquini (2009 world champion) could come back with a Seat diesel, commented the BMW driver. It would be a semi-official effort with the same diesel engine and then it will be the same (as in 2009) »

In addition, the Briton expressed his feelings regarding Seat's decision. “ It?s a shame to lose a manufacturer but, unfortunately, the path that the world championship has taken over the last two or three years, with diesel power versus gasoline, has caused a lot of problems. » Andy Priaulx will drive one of the two official BMWs in the WTCC this season.
