Racecar: Vilarino untouchable at Nogaro

Javier Villa had the privilege of starting from pole position in the race Endurance Elite in Nogaro after setting the best time in the Sprint Elite held the day before. But the driver of the No. 64 TFT Dodge Challenger could not long resist the attacks of Ander Vilarino, as fast in the wet as in the dry, who overtook him on the fifth lap of the race. The No. 2 Camaro took the lead of the event and never let go until the end of the 35 laps where the winner had a 1??6 lead over his compatriot. Romain Thiévin takes the last step of the podium at the wheel of his No. 99 Still Racing-Exotics Racing Challenger. Grégory Guilvert (No. 14 Still Racing Camaro) takes fourth place after taking the advantage over the No. 17 Pole Position 81 Ford Mustang of Wilfried Boucenna.

The double winner of the Nogaro 200 has little to complain about even if the TFT driver aims for perfection. “A great weekend”, commented Ander Vilarino. “We were the fastest in free practice, dropping below 1:35, then we took pole position and won both races. The first in the rain, narrowly, but we won after a great fight with Romain Thiévin and Dimitri Enjalbert. Today I had a very bad start but I was able to overtake Thiévin, then Javier Villa. We are only missing the greatest number of laps led, which is the work of Romain in the Sprint… Otherwise it would have been perfect. However, I remain very happy to have won everything, especially here because, I remind you, the TFT team is based right next to the circuit. This is happiness ! »
