Sacha Fenestraz: “Everything impresses me with the Supra GT500”

What are your impressions on board the Toyota GR Supra?

The tests were very interesting. These were my very first tests as an official driver. The car is very nice, its behavior is very similar to the Audi RS 5 DTM that I drove last winter. As a first impression, it is exciting to handle, but it is still complicated to compare yourself to others.

What struck you?

There is a lot of aerodynamic load and power. In fact, everything about the Supra impresses me! This car is incredible, even if it is very complicated to drive. A whole bunch of adjustments are available to the driver, it's very technical to drive, because it's very lively.

How is your integration into the team and collaboration with your teammate Yuhi Sekiguchi going?

Yuki is a very fast guy, definitely one of the fastest on the board. And he has a lot of experience. I learn a lot from him. My goal during these tests was to learn traffic management, the most difficult part for me. It's super complicated, especially in Okayama, which is a very winding route. This is an area I need to improve on.
