Saintéloc offers first victory to Audi at Magny-Cours

Audi has finally established itself in FFSAGT thanks to Saintéloc Racing. The No. 8 R42 LMS of Fabien Michal and Grégory Guilvert, which started from pole, retained the advantage throughout the 33 laps of the race and took the checkered flag with a lead of more than 5 seconds over the No. 8 Ginetta of Robert. Consani and Benjamin Lariche.

The championship leaders, who started only from 8th place, have carried out a great operation since they now have a lead of 28 points over the crew of the Mercedes n°87 AKKA-ASP composed of Jim Pla and Jean Beaubelique who was only able to move up to 14th place after starting from 21st position on the grid.

The podium was completed onAlpine n°36 of Pierre Sancinéna and Alexandre Jean-Pierre despite a loss of power at the start of the race which dropped the A110 to 8th place. The French mount preceded the Audi n°5 Saintéloc of Hamon-Martins, while CMR placed a second Alpine in the Top 5 with the n°26 of Tardif-Ayari.
