Saintéloc monopolizes the poles at Nogaro

The first qualifications of the year in the French Championship FFSAGT saw the #8 Audi R4 LMS GT42 – Saintéloc Racing of Fabien Michal and Grégory Guilvert dominate the sessions under the Gers sun at Nogaro, as part of the Easter Cups.

In good memory of the champion

The first part of qualifying saw reigning French champion Fabien Michal set the best time in 1'32″449 at the wheel of the No. 8 Audi R4 LMS GT42 – Saintéloc Racing.

The driver of the car with the rings precedes a quartet ofAlpine A110 GT4, which confirm their potential already widely seen last year, with in second place the A110 GT4 n°35 – Bodemer Auto of Alain Ferté, beaten by 59 thousandths.

Followed by the n°8 – Team SpeedCar of Robert Consani, third at 81 thousandths, the n°36 – CMR of Stéphane Lemeret and the n°111 – CMR of Rudy Servol, two tenths behind.

Edouard Cauhaupé places the best Mercedes-AMG GT4 n°187 – CD Sport in 6th place six tenths ahead of BMW M4 n°17 ​​– L’Espace Bienvenue of Christopher Campbell and n°3 – BMW Team France of Laurent Hurgon.

Fabien Barthez (Mercedes-AMG GT4 n°16 – AKKA-ASP) and Rodolphe Wallgren (Alpine A110 GT4 n°7 – Team SpeedCar) complete the top 10 of the session.

Jean-Luc Beaubelique, French vice-champion with Jim Pla on the No. 4 Mercedes-AMG GT87 – AKKA-ASP only takes 14th place, despite the best Porsche Cayman, the older generation model flanked by AGS Events No. 167 and entrusted to Didier Dumaine, only takes 17th place. In Am, pole goes to Pascal Huteau in the No. 55 Ginetta G4 GT22 – K-Work.

Guilvert doubles the stake

The Saint-Etienne structure did not tremble in Q2, with a great lap from Grégory Guilvert in 1'31″917, 144 thousandths ahead of Pierre-Alexandre Jean (Alpine A110 n°36 – CMR).

The second row of Monday's race will be shared between the No. 4 Mercedes-AMG GT87 – AKKA-ASP of Jim Pla and the No. 8 – Saintéloc Racing Audi R4 LMS GT14 of Simon Gachet. Soheil Ayari (Alpine A110 n°9 – CMR) and the Ginetta G55 GT4 n°1 – CMR – DRP of Christopher Capello will start from the third row.

Adrien Tambay (Porsche 718 Cayman n°141 – Cool Racing) and Vincent Beltoise (Alpine A110 n°919 – Mirage Racing) climbed into seventh and eighth positions. In Am, pole goes to Shahan Sarkissian (Ginetta G55 GT4 n°777 – K-Work).
