Steven Palette declared winner in C2 at Nogaro

If he had crossed the finish line first yesterday in the Gers for the second confrontation of TC France, Florian Briché (Peugeot 308 – JSB) remained under investigation by the stewards for contact with Ricardo van der Ende (BMW M2 CS Racing – L'Espace Bienvenue), who had led the race for a long time.

The decision to sanction the JSB driver seemed logical, and the panel of stewards actually imposed a Drive-Through on the winner on the track, a penalty transformed into 20″ added to the race time.

In fact, Kévin Ropars (Peugeot 308 – Ropars Racing Team) could have recovered the victory on the green carpet, but the latter was also sanctioned for contact with the BMW M2 CS Racing – VSF of Steven Palette, leaving the victory to the latter .

Palette achieves a double blow since he leaves Nogaro at the top of the championship. In TCA1, Julien Jacob-Cano (Peugeot RCZ RC – Runner for Ever) won, while in TCA2, Guillaume Maio (Renault Clio IV – GM Sport) dominated the event.

Viny Beltramelli achieves the double in TCA Light with the Peugeot 208 RC – Ropars Racing Team.
