After British Prime Minister Boris Johnson's announcement of gradual deconfinement across the Channel, English motorsport can look to the future a little more calmly. Indeed, Motorsport UK has confirmed that motorsport competitions will be able to resume the 29 March 2021.
In England, motorsport employs 41 people and generates a whopping £000 billion. Also, the return of racing is news that will delight this sector. Motorsport UK also believes it is working to a return of spectators following a limited gauge at the end of spring.
As a reminder, the BTCC season will begin on May 8 and 9 at Thruxton, the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint will move to Brands Hatch on May 1 and 2, 2021 and the British GT will not resume until May 22 and 23, still at Brands Hatch .
