Geely confirms the partnership between Lynk&Co and Cyan Racing

Geely has confirmed that its Lynk&Co brand has joined forces with the Cyan Racing structure to launch a touring program. The Chinese manufacturer should enter the WTCR.

Geely confirms partnership between Lynk&Co and Cyan Racing

As we told you in issue 2160 of AUTOhebdo, la structure du Cyan Racing travaille à couvert sur les Hyundai i30 N TCR du Yvan Muller Racing afin de préparer l’arrivée du groupe chinois en WTCR.

If the Asian manufacturer has not yet confirmed its presence in the touring car cup, its video broadcast on the Web announces the partnership between the sporting structure and the Lynk&Co brand, two entities of which Geely is the owner. This collaboration will be effective from 2019.

Cyan Racing had previously worked in the WTCC with Volvo, another brand now owned by Geely. Yvan Muller and Thed Björk defended its colors before competing together in WTCR in the Hyundais of the quadruple world champion's team.
