Hungary and Slovakia confirmed on the 2020 calendar

The WTCR sedans and the imposing ETRC trucks will occupy the same paddocks on two events during the 2020 season: in Hungary then in Slovakia. The Hungaroring circuit, near Budapest, will host the two competitions from April 24 to 26 while the Slovakia Ring will serve as the playing field from June 5 to 7.

“While we are keeping the full 2020 calendar under wraps until it passes all stages of approval, we are delighted to confirm the alliance between Eurosport Events (WTCR promoter) and ETRA (organizer of the ETRC),” explains François Ribeiro, the boss of Eurosport Events.

This association is not a first. In July 2018, the two categories had evolved on the same route, that of… the Slovakia Ring.

As for the 2020 WTCR calendar, these two Eastern European countries have already been added Spain with a trip to Motorland Aragon.
