Rob Huff: “We started the season on the wrong foot”

The 2012 WTCC world champion is back at world level this season after being forced to leave the international scene following Volkswagen's withdrawal in 2019. With the Hungarian team Zengö Motorsport, the Englishman is eating his fill . No podium, no victory for the man who had gotten used to fighting with the best since his beginnings in Tourism.

Rob Huff: “We started the season on the wrong foot”

You are returning to WTCR this season, what has changed since your return?

Not much since I only missed one year, and that was during the pandemic. We can count ourselves lucky to have been able to run as soon as it became reasonable again. We had to deal with quite a few schedule changes. I was lucky to be able to race in Sweden and win the Scandinavian Touring Championship. As for the WTCR, we have new cars and drivers who have never competed against each other, but I found my feet quickly. It was a bit like coming home.
