Everything will be decided tomorrow

Neither the French FFSA GT Championship nor the French FFSA GT3 Championship are played. By winning, Olivier Panis and Éric Debard regained a few points from Patrick Bornhauser and Laurent Groppi, now third. In GT3, the victory of Mike Parisy and Philippe Gaillard allows the two Ruffier Racing drivers to take the lead in the Championship.

Everything will be decided tomorrow

Clearly, the French Championship FFSAGT reserves surprises until the end. If Bruno Hernandez led the start of the race, aboard the Corvette C6.R of Luc Alphand Aventures, everything changed after the driver changes. Laurent Groppi's Saleen comes out on top, but receives a Stop&Go for non-compliance with the obligatory stopping time while Olivier Panis once again stands out.

The Grenoblois overtakes Soheil Ayari and Laurent Groppi, then widens the gap. Panis and Debard therefore won ahead of Hernandez / Ayari and Groppi / Bornhauser. “Everything will be decided tomorrow” analyzes Olivier Panis. “This race was competitive and both Soheil Ayari and Laurent Groppi were very sporting, as always. Tomorrow it will be complicated, because we are going to carry as much ballast as possible while Patrick Bornhauser and Laurent Groppi will be much lighter than us. But it will be interesting. »

The situation will be just as exciting in GT3. The Lamborghinis of Ruffier Racing, by signing a double with Parisy / Gaillard ahead of Thevenin / Peyroles, take the psychological advantage over the Bruno Dubreuil / Ulric Amado crew, today fourth behind the Audi of Stéphane Ortelli and Yvan Lebon.

Sunday's race will therefore deliver the verdict on this exciting season. Everything is still possible.
