David Reynolds and Dean Canto will start from pole for the Bathurst 1000. The first was the fastest in the Top 10 Shootout contested in changeable conditions with a wet track at the wheel of his Ford Falcon.
The resident of The Bottle-O Racing Team achieved a time of 2'27"8201 on the Mount Panorama circuit, ahead of a little over a second Scott McLaughlin (Volvo), driver of Valvoline Racing GRM whose teammate is Alexandre Prémat.
Jason Bright et Lee Holdsworth took the second row of the grid in front James Moffat.
Bathurst 1000 qualifying was postponed until this Saturday, October 10 due to Chaz Mostert’s accident.
