V8SC – Nick Percat joins Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport

Nick Percat will rebound in 2015 within the Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport, following the withdrawal of James Rosenberg Racing from the next V8 Supercars season. At 26, Percat will take the place of newly retired Russell Ingall, who confirmed earlier in the year that he would not be returning for a full season.

“I am so grateful to Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport for this opportunity, explains the Adelaide native, third this season at Bathurst, a race he won in 2011. It was disappointing to lose my steering wheel. Fortunately, LDM had an option, and we worked hard to secure it. Coming here and being a top driver is a very different scenario to what I've been used to, but the LDM team is well equipped, with a Holden Commodore built by Triple Eight, and great people. This team has grown significantly over the last twelve months and I want to help them continue to build that momentum. »

The first round of V8 Supercars 2015 will take place from February 28 to March 1 at Adelaide Australia.
