Ulysse de Pauw surprised everyone! Less visible than some of his counterparts since the start of the weekend in Valencia, the Belgian beat all the drivers in the Pro category to take pole position overall. With a time of 1'30″467, he placed his Ferrari No. 53 of the AF Corse team at the top of the starting grid.

Behind, Charles Weerts tried until the end to take a new pole position but made a small error in his last flying lap. The No. 32 Audi of the WRT team finally started in second thanks to a best lap of 1'30″619 (+0″152). Simon Gachet completes the leading trio with his No. 11 Audi from the Tresor by Car Collection team (+0″288). He will be accompanied by Pieter Schothorst (Attempto Racing) on the second row.

For his return to an emblematic circuit of the calendar MotoGP, Valentino Rossi ranks 11th. The Italian failed less than three tenths from the top-3, an encouraging performance before starting the race.

In the Silver category, behind leader Ulysse de Pauw, Gilles Magnus (Sainteloc Junior Team) is positioned in second place in the category (5th overall). The No. 30 of the WRT team, driven by Thomas Neubauer, finished in third position (6th overall). The first race of the weekend will take place this Saturday afternoon, starting at 14:00 p.m.
