Valentino Rossi don't waste time. A few weeks after the end of his legendary career in MotoGP, the nine-time world speed champion has announced his participation in the 12 Hours of the Gulf (January 8, 2022) in Abu Dhabi.
The ex-biker has made no secret of his desire to switch to the world of four wheels, if possible in GT and/or in Endurance. So before imagining why not 24 Hours of Le Mans, the motorcycling star will be prowling at Yas Marina, as was already the case in 2019 (3rd) and 2021 (4th in Bahrain).

Engaged in the Kessel Racing team aboard a Ferrari 488 GT3 in the Pro-Am class, Valentino Rossi will be accompanied by his half-brother Luca Marini (current driver in the VR46 in MotoGP) and his faithful friend, Alessio Salucci alias “Uccio”.
