Vincent Abril associated with Maro Engel and Luca Stolz at Black Falcon

This will certainly be a crew to watch closely for honors in GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup. Already long-time partners on the Mercedes-AMG GT3 from Team Black Falcon, Maro Engel and Luca Stolz, both official AMG drivers, will welcome on the n°4 Vincent Abril for the five feature races of the SRO Motorsports Series in 2020.

The Frenchman, Bentley Motorsport driver until the start of 2019, left the British fold to join Jérôme Policand's AKKA-ASP team, on a complete Sprint and Endurance program.

Aligned with Raffaele Marciello in GT World Challenge Europe last year, the Gardois had a complicated start to the campaign before turning things around perfectly, concluding the Sprint championship with three victories including a double in the Hungaroring final.

Abril will discover a new environment, with two drivers who came very close to the Sprint crown in 2019 (same number of points as champions Andrea Caldarelli and Marco Mapelli, but beaten in the number of victories). The 2018 Endurance Cup champions with Yelmer Buurman, will also aim for the Sprint series in 2020.

An Endurance program which also complements for Vincent Abril a presence in GT Open on a Ferrari 488 GT3 – AF Corse with Louis Prette.

Black Falcon will also field Sergei Afanasiev – Patrick Assenheimer – Hubert Haupt in the Silver Cup in the Endurance rounds. The German team will also be present in the Sprint in the Silver Cup category with a car for Finlay Hutchison and a driver still to be determined.
