The No. 3 Bentley Continental GT9 – K-Pax Racing of Alvaro Parente and Andy Soucek dominated the first race of the weekend at VIR (Virginia) in Blancpain World Challenge America by head and shoulders.

Starting from pole, Alvaro Parente led his relay at full speed, handing over his wheel to Andy Soucek who only had to finish despite a final restart less than four minutes from the finish, after Scott went off the track Hargrove (Porsche 911 GT3 R n°58 – Wright Motorsports), then second.

Soucek finally crossed the finish line as the winner ahead of the No. 911 – Alegra Motorsports Porsche 3 GT24 R of Wolf Henzler and Marco Holzer.

Third before the last restart, Toni Vilander (Ferrari 488 GT3 n°61 – R. Ferri Motorsports), teammate of Miguel Molina, was surprised by Kyle Marcelli (Acura NSX GT3 n°80 – Racers Edge Motorsports) who completed the podium with Martin Brakey, the tandem winning also in Pro-Am.
