Volvo and Nicky Catsburg were the strongest this Saturday on the Termas de Rio Hondo circuit in the WTCC. The Dutch driver dominated the qualifying session of the Argentinian meeting, not without going somewhat off-course in the last corner. An investigation has also been opened into this incident.
The former resident of the Lada fold has thus completed his best lap in 1'43″088 and is almost two tenths ahead of Norbert Michelisz's Honda Civic. Tiago Monteiro is in third place by almost four tenths and ahead of the Chevrolet Cruze – Campos Racing of Esteban Guerrieri. Thed Björk lifts the second Volvo S60 to fifth place.
