Yvan Muller will participate this weekend in the third round of the FFSA GT3 on the Dijon-Prenois circuit, replacing the absent Frédéric Makowiecki.

Yvan Muller, luxury freelancer in FFSA GT

His last appearance in a French championship dates back to 2005. At the time, the Alsatian had to supplement Alain Prost at the wheel of the Exagon Racing Viper, during the Val de Vienne meeting. Yvan Muller had also achieved pole position, the crew he made up with François Jakubowski finishing fourth and second respectively in the two races of the weekend.

La Porsche Carrera Cup performing at Spa-Francorchamps, as a curtain-raiser to the Belgian round of Le Mans Series, Frédéric Makowiecki will not be in Dijon this weekend for the third meeting of the French FFSA GT3 championship. After enlisting Jean-Philippe Dayraut and Frédéric Makowiecki, Olivier Repovic managed to secure the services of the 2008 WTCC world champion: Yvan Muller.
