Arthur Pic ready to fight

Arthur Pic (SG Formula), for his second season in Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, is eager to start his season, having finished the collective tests at Motorland Aragon in the lead. However, the Frenchman had to face quality opponents, notably Giovanni Venturini (Epsilon Euskadi), regularly at the forefront, Luciano Bacheta (Interwetten) and Aaro Vainio (SG Formula), the young Finnish prodigy from karting.

It was on Thursday morning that Arthur Pic achieved his best time. The timesheet was dominated until then by Giovanni Venturini, in 1:57:151 but, just before the mid-day break, the young Frenchman stole this position, improving the mark by six tenths (1:56). ??551). In the afternoon, Venturini was the fastest (1) but was unable to beat Pic's time.

« We tested a lot of things during these two days, in order to put everything in order for the first race, concluded Charles Pic Thursday evening. When we put fresh tires on and then used tires it worked great. We were far away in Valencia during the first tests, today we are here. Now I can't wait for the season to start. »

After these collective Eurocup FR 2.0 tests, the Formula Renault 3.5 Series drivers take over for two days on the Motorland Aragon circuit. The Spanish ring will reunite with the players who raced this week (Eurocup Mégane Trophy, Eurocup FR 2, Formula Renault 0 Series) on the weekend of April 3.5-16 for the first World Series by Renault meeting of the season.
