Twenty-two pilots. Ten different nationalities. F4 France has rarely done so well. After the pandemic crisis which saw the grids of European motorsport empty somewhat, the trend is towards relaunch for 2022. At least as far as F4 France is concerned. In 2022, the FFSA will indeed welcome 22 pilots announced the Federation, specifying that many other pilots were on the waiting list. Twelve French people will be on the grid which will also include two Japanese, an American, an Australian, an Indian, a Swiss, a Belgian as well as drivers from Colombia, Ecuador and Andorra.

Among the headliners, we will find Hugh Barter, 2021 vice-champion behind Esteban Masson. The Australian will aim for the title, but the four Junior drivers from last year will try to prevent him. Among them, Alessandro Giusti, member of the Rookie Academy AUTOhebdo and Junior champion in 2021. Dario Cabanelas, Enzo Geraci and Pierre-Alexandre Provost will also be there. Just like Gaël Julien, 7th in 2021.

Two Japanese on the grid

Asia will once again be represented with the presence of the two Japanese winners behind the wheel of the Suzuka Circuit Racing School, Yuto Nomura and Souta Arao. The last time the Japanese lined up, they were champion and vice-champion in 2020 (Ayumu Iwasa and Ren Sato). The Indian Amir Sayed will also be there, as will the South Americans Jeronimo Berrio (Colombia) and Mateo Villagomez (Ecuador). Luciano Morano (USA) and the Andorian Pol Lopez will make their debut just like the Belgian Lorens Lecuerta seen at high level in karting.

Finally, as is often the case, five residents of the French Junior Karting Championship will make their big debut in car. They are Pablo Sarrazin, the son of Stéphane, Romain Andriolo, Leny Reveillère, the son of the former international footballer Anthony, Louis Pelet and Enzo Peugeot . The Tricolores Edgar Pierre, Enzo Richer and Antoine Fernande will also be present in 2022. As a reminder, the calendar will include seven rounds, while the season will kick off in Nogaro from April 16 to 18.
