Starting from pole position, Hugh Barter masterfully managed this first race of the F4 France meeting at Spa-Francorchamps. With a good reaction to the lights going out, the Australian immediately took cover from his pursuers, pushing them back by almost a second at the end of the first sector.

Hugh Barter, however, had to redo all the work since the safety car intervened on the first lap and for many minutes. Once again, the championship leader did not tremble and quickly created a gap with the peloton. Too fast to be followed, the Australian crossed the finish line alone with a little more than 3 seconds in advance to sign a 6e victory of the season.

Giusti the correct operation

However, this victory counts as butter for Hugh Barter since he cannot score points during this round in the Ardennes slide. Engaged in parallel in F4 Spain, the Australian has already competed in a meeting at Spa-Francorchamps, included in the Spanish championship calendar, at the beginning of the month.

As a result, it was Alessandro Giusti who collected the 25 points for victory. Yet 3e under the checkerboard after being attacked by Jeronimo Berrio during the last braking, the member of the AUTOhebdo Rookie Academy saw the Colombian logically penalized thus recovering the 2e position and therefore the units of the winner. Elliott Vayron got on the 3e step of the podium.

In the championship, Alessandro Giusti performed excellently. The 25 points of victory allow him to regain 2e place in Souta Arao, 4e this Friday, and to come back to 47 lengths from Hugh Barter.
