C2: Mazepin wins a turbulent race

The pole sitter, Joey Mawson (Arden) is not capable of maintaining the ART GP for more than 4 laps. The race turns into an ordeal for the Australian whose grip on the car is extremely precarious.

At the front, the battle is between the ART GPs who monopolize the first four places. Nikita mazepin quickly took the advantage by starting higher on the grid to win a third time this season. Anthoine Hubert nevertheless made a strong impression also by finishing 2e after leaving from 6e position. The British Callum Ilott and Jake Hughes respectively finish 3e and 4e.

The Trident of Pedro Piquet and Giuliano Alesi follow in the ranking ahead of Richard Verschoor (MP Motorsport), the rookie who made the comeback of the day with 8 places gained. Ryan Tveter (Trident) pockets the last point of the race by one breath ahead of the two Jenzers of Tatiana Calderón and Juan Manuel Correa.

Gabriel Aubry (Arden) finishes at the gates of the top 10 with an 11e place and Julien Falchero (Arden) ranks 14e. In the championship, Anthoine Hubert now has 158 points compared to 132 for Ilott and 125 for Mazepin.
