C2: Piquet victorious after a long battle with Alesi

The two Trident drivers competed for victory throughout the race until the Brazilian took the checkered flag.

C2: Piquet victorious after a long battle with Alesi

From the start, Pedro Piquet (Trident) took advantage of the humidity on the odd side of the grid to pass pole sitter Richard Verschoor (MP Motorsport). The battle with Giuliano Alessi (Trident) starts on the first lap but is interrupted by the safety car which intervenes following the violent exit from the track of Juan Manuel Correa (Jenzer) and Gabriel Aubry (Arden) following contact between the American and Devlin De Francesco (MP Motorsport).

The two sons of pilots F1 The lead of the race was exchanged throughout the event, with no driver separated by more than a second from their predecessor. Finally, the Brazilian won on the penultimate lap at the second chicane, taking advantage of an error by the Frenchman.

Pedro Piquet wins his second GP3 Series race after Silverstone ahead of his teammate Giuliano Alesi and Callum Ilott (ART GP), the Briton having got the better of his teammate Anthoine Hubert halfway through the race.

The ART GP signs a group shot with Nikita mazepin and Jake Hughes next ahead of David Beckmann (Trident) and Tatiana Calderón (Jenzer). The Campos of Leonardo Pulcini and Simo Laaksonen complete the top 10 and Julien Falchero (Arden) ranks 16e.
