Race 1: Lirim Zendeli wins ahead of Théo Pourchaire

This time he didn't let it pass. Deprived of his first FIA victory F3 by Bent Viscaal a few weeks ago in the last lap at Silverstone, Lirim Zendeli (Trident) did not tremble this Saturday to unlock his counter in the category. The German, who started in a leading position, resisted Theo Pourchaire (ART Grand Prix) at the start to win. He knew how not to be disturbed by the safety car that entered the track on the 3rd lap after the weekly crash of Alessio Deledda (Campos). 

There will therefore be no third victory for the moment for Théo Pourchaire. The Frenchman finished just ahead of David Beckmann (Trident), who got a good podium. Starting 5th, the German confirms his great consistency, he being the only driver to have scored points in each of the races since the start of the season. 

For his part, the championship leader Logan sargeant (Prema) lost big after engine problems which still allowed him to finish the race. But from 5th, he finally finished 8th. Oscar piastri (Prema), 5th, took the opportunity to regain control of the championship. Richard Verschoor (MP Motorsport) will start from pole on Sunday morning for race 2.

On the French side, in addition to Pourchaire's new podium, Clément Novalak had a difficult race after suffering a puncture following a collision with Estner (Campos) on the first lap. The Franco-Swiss finished 28th, six places ahead of Pierre-Louis Chovet (Hitech, 22nd), for whom it was his first race in the category.
