Race 2: Lundgaard brings the passion to Monza

Christian lundgaard (MP Motorsport) authoritatively won the second race of the Monza meeting (Italy) in Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup. The Dane, only 16 years old, moved between clashes to take the lead in the general classification for what is only his first year in the discipline.

The 4 Spanish and Northern European Formula 2017 champion, placed in second position on the starting grid, overtook from the outside at the Variante della Roggia the regional of the stage, Lorenzo Colombo (JD Motorsport) . However, the two men did not see the departure pileup, involving Alex Peroni (MP Motorsport), Axel Matus (AVF) and Vladimir Tziortzis (Fortec Motorsports) and causing a neutralization of the event.

The next round will take place at Silverstone (Great Britain) from May 18 to 20.
