Race 2: Victor Martins second behind Caldwell

Victor Martins (MP Motorsport) is adapting to the F3 at great speed. The Habs indeed managed to stay out of the mayhem to seize second place in the heart of the chaos of the final laps. The Ile-de-France native even attacked the winner Olli Caldwell (Prema) in the final laps for victory, but the Englishman closed the door perfectly at the first corner. Frederik Vesti (ART Grand Prix) completes the podium.

And yet, victory was for a long time between Enzo Fittipaldi (HWA RAcelab) and David Schumacher (Trident), the two men who started on the front row of this inverted starting grid compared to the Top 12 of Race 1. After exchanging the lead twice, the two dragsters collided at T1 during the 15th lap , the Brazilian gently sending the German into the gravel, before giving up himself a lap later.

Matteo Nannini (HWA Racelab) then found himself in the lead ahead of the impressive Dennis Hauger (Prema), and the two men had three laps to compete for victory. But in the same place as their two sidekicks, the two men collided on the penultimate lap and abandoned any chance of victory, leaving Caldwell and Martins to take the first two places.

Winner of Race 1 earlier in the day, Alexander Smolyar (ART Grand Prix) did not resist the first corner. After a slight contact with Clément Novalak (Trident) resulting in a puncture on the right rear, the Russian lost control of his car and trained Logan sargeant (Charouz) in his fall.

We will once again note the extremely solid race of Clément Novalak (Trident), 2nd in Race 1 and who finished just off the podium (4th) after starting from 11th position. The other Frenchmen Reshad de Gerus (Charouz) and Pierre-Louis Chovet (Jenzer) progressed with 14th and 15th places. Arthur Leclerc (Prema), who started from behind, finished 12th.

As a reminder, the main race will take place tomorrow at 12:05 p.m. Dennis Hauger will start on pole ahead of Jack Doohan and Victor Martins.
