Esteban Masson wins Race 1 at Nogaro

Esteban Masson won a first authoritarian victory this Sunday morning, during the very first race of the year in F4 France. The Habs, who are playing their first full season in car having taken part in two meetings in the past, comfortably dominated his repeating compatriots Owen Tangavelou and Daniel Ligier.

Starting on the front row alongside Masson, Australian Hugh Barter got off to a difficult start while skating on the grid. The winner of the Richard Mille Young Talent Academy found himself 4th at the first corner, his final place for this Race 1. For his part, Macéo Capietto had an unfortunate start since a clutch problem occurred during the formation lap. prevented him from taking his first start.

Tenth in race 1, the Thai Thanapongpan Sutomno will start on pole for Race 2 thanks to the reverse grid rule, ahead of the Frenchman Andy Noah, who is currently only registered in the championship for this first meeting. The second race of the weekend will take place at 17:10 p.m. this Sunday.
