Pietro Fippialdi dominated the second race of the Formula V8 3.5 World Series weekend at Jerez ahead of Egor Orudzhev.

F V8 3.5 – Fittipaldi returns to victory at Jerez

Despite a complicated start for Pietro Fittipaldi (Lotus) where he was passed by Egor Orudzhev (SMP Racing by AVF), who started from the first row, Pietro Fittipaldi was able to take the lead again during the first lap and never relinquish command of the race. Race 2 of the World Series Formula V8 3.5 in Jerez (Spain).

The pit stops did not change the hierarchy at the top of the standings and Pietro Fittipaldi was never directly threatened by the SMP Racing of Egor Orudzhev and Matevos Isaakyan who accompanied him on the podium. Alfonso Celis (Fortec Motorsport) was very pressing on the Russian at the end of the race but had to settle for fourth place.

René Binder (Lotus) finished fifth ahead of Damiano Fioravanti (RP Motorsport), first rookie. The Teo Martins of Konstantin Tereschenko and Nelson Mason finished 7th and 8th respectively ahead of Diego Menchaca (Fortec Motorsport) and Yu Kanamaru (RP Motorsport) who completed the top 10. Roy Nissany (RP Motorsport) was forced to retire at the mid-race while Giuseppe Cipriani (Il Barone Rampante) made a mistake on the last lap.
