On the sidelines of the Le Mans meeting, the veil was lifted on the new car which will be used next year by the residents of the French FFSA F4 Championship. The calendar was also presented.

FFSA F4 – On the way to 2017

It is on a completely new basis that the FFSA F4 French Championship will start again in 2017. The series which notably revealed Loïc duval, Jean-Eric Vergne or even Stoffel Vandoorne (winner in Super Formula this morning), will allow its participants to evolve on a new carIncluding technical details were revealed earlier this year.

It was at Le Mans that the 2017 single-seater was officially presented, in the presence of Pierre Gasly, Prema Racing driver in GP2 Series, and member of the fold Red Bull, and Nicolas Deschaux, president of the FFSA. The aerodynamics have been reworked with a new nose and rear extractor. The running gear has also been revised with the arrival of a rear anti-roll bar. The performance gain over a lap should reach two seconds.

The 2017 calendar has also been revealed. Seven events, including three outside our borders, will be on the program, according to the following distribution:

April 14-15-16: Nogaro – Easter cups.
April 28-29-30: Red Bull Ring – Austria (to be confirmed).
May 12-13-14: Pau – Pau Grand Prix.
June 23-24-25: Paul Ricard (on the sidelines of the Blancpain GT Series)
July 08-09: Spa-Francorchamps – Belgium.
September 02-03: Magny-Cours
October 07-08: Zandvoort – Netherlands.

Finally, let us remember that the 2017 champion will be able to join the Renault Sport Academy and obtain a grant of €100 excluding tax.
