4 Safety Car to end the year, Edgar last winner

• He had to wait until the last race of his third season in F3 to do so but Jonny Edgar finally took his first victory in the category. This is his first success in car since Red Bull Ring in October 2020 when he was still racing in F4 Germany.
• However, the Englishman had to work hard to win it since it was above all a matter of surviving in this Main Race at Monza where there were numerous accidents. Indeed, this final outing of the year was marked by collisions which caused a good number of retirements such as Pepe Martí (Campos), Sebastián Montoya (Hitech GP), Franco Colapinto (MP Motorsport) and Grégoire Saucy ( ART Grand Prix), and consequently 4 appearances of the Safety Car.
• Jonny Edgar therefore had to defend his position on several occasions but he always held his ground even when Caio Collet (VAR) tried to overtake him before the Briton responded with an authoritarian overtaking in the first Lesmo. In the end, he never failed and he was able to take the checkerboard first after a restart for one lap. Zak O'Sullivan (Prema) and Taylor Barnard (Jenzer) completed the Top 3 for an all-British podium, a first in F100.
• At the championship level, Zak O'Sullivan finished vice-champion behind Gabriel Bortoleto (Trident), 5^e this Sunday, and Paul Aron (Prema) 3^e. On the team side, Prema retains his title ahead of Trident.
