Alex Peroni injured in back and withdraws from sprint race

Despite the impressive nature of the accident, Alex Peroni is doing well. The Campos Racing driver took off on a “sausage” vibrator at the exit of the Parabolic at Monza this Saturday morning in the main FIA race F3, literally flying away and ending up on a wall of tires and in a fence.

Out of his car and taken to the medical center then to the San Gerardo hospital, Peroni suffered a concussion and a fractured vertebra in the accident, with the logical consequence of a withdrawal from tomorrow morning's sprint race in Italy .
