  • Luke Browning (Hitech GP) continues his momentum. Winner of the Macau Grand Prix last November, where he showed a very good level, the protégé of Williams Academy did not miss its chance this Saturday during the Main Race in Bahrain.
  • Second on the grid, the Englishman immediately took the lead on first braking thanks to problems encountered by pole sitter Dino Beganovic (Prema) when the lights went out. Taking advantage of the small battles in his exhausts, Luke Browning was able to distance himself and give himself some air for what comes next.
  • Overall, the Hitech GP driver had a quiet Main Race even if he had to deal with Christian Mansell (ART Grand Prix) in very good form. Australia, 8e on the grid, displayed a very good top speed which allowed him to chain overtakes. Returning to Luke Browning's DRS zone, the representative of the French team even hoped to take the lead when he saw smoke escaping from the Englishman's engine block. In the end, everything remained on alert and Browning was able to race towards his first victory in F3, he who is repeating a grade and whose first campaign had not met his expectations.
  • The only Frenchman entered this year in the category, Sami Meguetounif (Trident) produced a very good performance. Coming second at the start, the Habs had long claimed the podium but a few small errors impacted their hopes. Passed by Christian Mansell, the Marseillais was then surprised by Tim Tramnitz (MP Motorsport) during the first braking. If he tried to respond, Meguetounif ultimately failed to counter him, settling for 4e place, its initial position. A great way to launch your F3 adventure.
